Rash of robberies up in Montgomery Co.

THE WOODLANDS, TX The two most recent incidents happened in The Woodlands in the past ten days. One robber hit a Wendy's restaurant, while another crook mugged a bicyclist after asking for directions.

According to the sheriff's office, there were 31 robberies in Montgomery County's district six patrol region through July of this year. That's up from 17 robberies over the same six-month period last year.
