Authorities say a man arrested after a Friday afternoon bank robbery and car chase is the serial bank robbery suspect they've dubbed the "XXXL Bandit." Harris County Sheriff's Office officials say the suspect allegedly robbed a bank in the 15000 block of Champion Forest around 1pm Friday, but a bank employee chased him until deputies got to the neighborhood.

The suspect led authorities on a 15-minute car chase throughout north Harris County until officers caught up to him at Hirschfield and Aldine Westfield, where he was arrested.

Deputies believe the suspect is the serial bank robbery suspect the FBI has dubbed the "XXXL Bandit."

Investigators believe he's responsible for at least three robberies in the Houston-area.

Deputies say they allegedly found cash from Friday's robbery on him.
