It's our favorite day around here at ABC13 not only because it's Friday, but it's Free Stuff Friday. To celebrate your birthday, some restaurants go all out by offering $5 gift vouchers, even one for $30. But for kids, it doesn't have to be their birthday to get a free meal.

With kids back at school, you may find yourself searching for dinner ideas. Well no need to sweat Wednesdays because at James Coney Island kids eat free from 4pm to close. For this deal, kids ages 10 and under get a kiddie combo meal for free with the purchase of a regular combo meal. It's dine-in only and children must be present.

If you don't have plans tonight, check out the Golden Dragon Acrobats of China performing this weekend at the Miller Outdoor Theatre. The touring company will have two shows, one tonight and one Saturday night, both at 8pm. If you can't make it to the show this weekend, next Friday, September 3, the Miller Outdoor Theatre and the City of Houston will be hosting District D night at the movies. The popular movie 'Avatar' will be playing at 7:30pm.

If your birthday is around the corner or even if it's not, sign up for these two freebies in honor of your big day. First, Jason's Deli has a free $5 gift certificate when you join their e-mail club.
