Man wanted in fatal shooting of security officer

Fidencio Maravillo Martinez, aka Fidencio Martiez Maravillo, is wanted for the fatal shooting of a security officer at a restaurant in Montgomery County.

Authorities are searching for a suspect wanted in the shooting death of a security officer at a restaurant in Montgomery County. Around 1:20am on August 14, authorities say Fidencio Maravillo Martinez, aka Fidencio Martiez Maravillo, walked into the Taqueria Arandes located at 25598 North Freeway in Spring, Texas. Martinez shot and killed a security officer, Jose Maximino Benitez.

Martinez was last seen getting into a white Chrysler 300. Martinez should be considered armed and dangerous.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to a $1000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest or indictment of a felony crime. You are asked to call 800-392-STOP(7867). Anonymous tips can also be made through the Montgomery County Crime Stoppers web site.

A private donor is offering an additional $5,000 reward.
