Friendswood man arrested on forgery warrant

FRIENDSWOOD, TX The warrant was issued out of Galveston County relating to a recent League City counterfeiting case. Friendswood police officers were sent into the Autumn Creek subdivision to locate Pribyl who resides in the 3000 block of Autumn Creek Court. At approximately 4:30pm, officers were able to locate a vehicle at Pribyl's residence that was known to be used by him. Officers later observed Pribyl leaving the subdivision in a black 2010 Dodge with expired Florida registration at approximately 5 pm.

Uniformed officers were summoned to the area and they were able to conduct a traffic stop in the 1400 block of FM 528. The officer observed Pribyl moving excessively in the vehicle as he pulled into a parking lot. During a search incident to arrest, officers found two syringes containing an unknown liquid believed to be methamphetamine. The syringes were placed into evidence for testing. Once lab test results are known, further criminal charges may be filed. Police also found oven cleaner and bleach in the car. These items are commonly used by criminals to wash and otherwise alter currency.
