Man wanted for failing to register as a sex offender

HOUSTON In February 1998, Joshua Anthony Kitchen was convicted of indecency with a child for touching a 5-year-old girl inappropriately. He was sentenced to two years in prison, but is required to register as a sex offender.

On January 21 of this year, Kitchen registered with the Houston Police Department and told them he was living in the 6700 block of Paris in Houston. On July 18, officers went to do a compliance check to make sure he was living at that address, but discovered he had moved in April. Kitchen has a duty to report a new address within seven days of moving.

A warrant has been issued for Kitchen's arrest. He is still believed to be in the Houston area.

Kitchen, 29, is a black male. He is 6 feet 1 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. He has black hair with brown eyes and a medium complexion. He has tattoos on his neck, back and right forearm. He also has a scar on his left hand.
