A wrecker driver has been seriously injured after the truck flipped in northwest Houston. The accident happened around 5:30pm Tuesday on West little York and Langfield. Police say the wrecker driver was eastbound on W. Little York when he hit a curb and lost control of the vehicle. He went across all lanes of traffic, hit another curb, and rolled the vehicle several times. He was ejected when the vehicle rolled.

He was taken to Ben Taub Hospital with severe head injuries and broken bones.

Police say their report does not say whether speed or alcohol may have played a role in the accident.

No other vehicles were involved.
