Five arrested after drugs discovered in home

FRIENDSWOOD, TX Police were executing a search and arrest warrant on 32-year-old Deric Rochard Epps, who was at a home in the 16600 block of Barcelona on Friday afternoon, according to a Friendswood Police Department statement.

When they entered the house, Epps allegedly jumped through the window and took off, but he was arrested after a brief foot chase.

Police also seized 1,353 grams of liquid codeine, one and one-half pounds of marijuana, 57 grams of cocaine, 52 hydrocodone pills, 76 Xanex pills and 12 Ecstasy pills.

Four men later identified as 29-year-old Cole Everett Dockall, Jeremy Duane Brock, 33, 36-year-old David Michael Tucker, 36, and Thomas DeWayne May, 34, also were arrested.

Dockall, Brock and Tucker were each charged with first degree felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. May was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Webster.

Epps had been wanted on a Harris County felony warrant for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance stemming from a Friendswood investigation; he also was charged with two new first degree felony charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver. He is being held without bond at Harris County Jail.
