Montgomery Co. Food Bank facing critical shortage

Donations have dropped to a critical level at the Montgomery County Food Bank. Officials there say they have only one week's supply of food. What the food bank needs most is canned meat and vegetables, along with nutritional foods like peanut butter and rice.

The shortage is so low the Houston Food Bank sent over an emergency truckload of food. The Montgomery Co. Food Bank feeds about 30,000 people a day.

They're in the process of planting a community garden to help keep their produce numbers up.
