Cut school bus route restored

HOUSTON The Clear Creek Independent School District superintendent has decided to restore bus service to Ross Elementary, but not Bauerschlag Elementary. Parents from both schools protested, saying the lack of sidewalks and busy intersections makes it too dangerous for children to walk to school.

The superintendent says he looked into the problem but thinks only students at Ross have a traffic issue. The district is facing a $4 million budget shortfall.
