Capital murder suspect turns himself in

HOUSTON According to the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office, Kendell Clifton Nickelson, 26, of Brookhaven, Mississippi, was wanted for his alleged role in a recent shooting and subsequent bank robbery. Nickelson, who faces charges of capital murder, kidnapping and aggravated robbery, turned himself in at the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office Detention Facility early Monday morning.

Nickelson had been identified as a third suspect subsequent to the arrest of 41-year-old Peter Keith Harvey and 30-year-old Adrianne Green. All three are suspected in the July 1 kidnapping and murder of Donna Woodberry and the armed robbery of First National Bank. KATV Channel 7 News reported that police say Woodberry was taken from her home and killed, and that her car was later used in the bank robbery.
