Argument turns deadly in west Houston

HOUSTON Witnesses say two men started fighting in front of the West Hallow Park Apartments Saturday night. One of the men pulled a gun and shot the other.

The shooter ran away. The shooting victim was taken to the hospital by LifeFlight. He later died.

Officers are now questioning several people. "We have several people that we have detained that we are interviewing," said Roy Swainson with HPD Homicide. "I'm not going to say we have a suspect in custody but we have several people we are interviewing."

Police have recovered a gun and shell casings from the scene of the crime. They are still not sure what the men were arguing about.
