The FBI needs the public's help in identifying a female bank robber dubbed the 'Fashionable Felon.' The suspect Thursday allegedly robbed the Wachovia Bank located at 12107 Northwest Freeway in northwest Houston. Authorities say she appeared to be quite fashionable, as she toted a large Louis Vuitton style handbag during the robbery.

The FBI says around 4:30pm, the woman entered the bank and waited in the teller line. When she approached the teller, she pulled a note out of her handbag and placed it on the teller counter. The note was threatening and demanded money. The teller provided the woman with some cash. The woman fled the bank.

No weapon was observed during the robbery. No one was physically hurt. The bank's surveillance cameras captured several photographs of the woman during the robbery.

The Fashionable Felon is described as a black female, 28 or 29 years old, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, 130 pounds, with a dark complexion and a slender build. She wore a black sweater, black spandex pants, large gold-rimmed glasses, and carried a large brown Luis Vuitton style handbag during the robbery. She had dark brown or black wavy hair and may have been wearing a hair weave.
