Gainesville police report Dan Alford told investigators he was negotiating a price for sex, when he noticed Jennifer Elder's dental problems. Alford says she snatched a checkbook out of his shirt pocket and took off. He adds the checkbook had $78 in cash.
Elder claims she got scared and ran. She says she didn't realize he had stuck a wad of cash in her bra. Elder was busted on a robbery charge.
Police say it's unlikely Alford would face misdemeanor charges for solicitation, because he was the victim of a felony.
