Letters and packages were saved by firefighters after a mail room caught fire at an apartment complex. It happened at the complex located on Forum Park and Sugar Branch in southwest Houston.

Crews made a fast attack and put the fire out before the flames spread to the main office. Firefighters do not believe the fire destroyed any mail and say the boxes are still usable. But they do say the fire appears to have been set on purpose.
