Man, 75, kills intruder in his home

CEDAR CREEK, TX A Bastrop County sheriff's spokesman said Tuesday that authorities consider it a case of self defense and no charges are pending against Marion Lee Hill.

Hill arrived at his Cedar Creek home last Friday night to find 38-year-old Jonathon W. Jones at the residence. Investigators say the two struggled and the fight took them into the kitchen, where Hill grabbed a steak knife and stabbed Jones in his left arm and chest.

Cedar Creek is about 20 miles southeast of Austin.
