The home owner was down the street at a July 4th party when the flames broke out.
"By the time we got down there, the whole garage was in flames," said neighbor Hugh Durlam. "And it is pretty much burned down to the ground."
Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the fire. Neighbors say they heard a loud explosion just as the garage door blew right off the house.
