Trial continues for mother charged in daughter's death

HOUSTON Prosecutors say Abigail Young failed to stop violent acts against 4-year-old Emma Thompson. Emma died last year after suffering from a severed pancreas and fractured skull.

During Tuesday's testimony, Young got very emotional when prosecutors showed autopsy pictures.

The mother is charged with injury to a child by omission. Young's former boyfriend, Lucas Coe, is charged with sexually abusing the little girl. His trial is set to start in September.
