Elderly woman killed in collision on Westpark

HOUSTON Police say an Isuzu struck a Lexus at the intersection of Royalton and Westpark around 11:20am Sunday. The driver and passenger of the Lexus were transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where the 91-year-old female passenger was later pronounced dead.

The driver of the Lexus was expected to be released after treatment. The Isuzu driver was not injured.

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

No charges have been filed at this time as the investigation continues.
