Grand jury weighing charges in HPD beating case

HOUSTON Chad Holley, 16, testified before a grand jury on Monday. He claims the officers beat him outside a storage facility in southwest Houston back in March. Unreleased surveillance video allegedly shows the beating.

The grand jury has been listening to testimony in this case for a month now. The proceedings are kept secret.

Holley's lawyer says the uncertainty of the investigation is beginning to take its toll on the family.

"They're tired. They feel like victims. They really just want it behind them at this point and time," said attorney Wilvin Carter.
