Three sets of triplets celebrate first birthday

HOUSTON The Woman's Hospital of Texas threw a party for the first birthdays of the Elmore, Estrada, and Lacombe triplets. They were all born on June 11, 2009. The kiddos each got a cake which they tore right into.

"The miracle of all three sets being born and no issues and we have three healthy sets of triplets and it's really a blessing," said Justin Lacombe, father of one set of triplets.

"It's so much fun to see them with the other kids and to see that they're all doing so well. And it's great. It's just a wonderful thing to share with everybody," said Karen Estrada, mother of one of the sets of triplets.

The parents met while blogging about their pregnancies before the babies were born.
