HOUSTON If you're looking for some last-minute gift ideas for dad from the kids, Michaels has two free events this weekend. Friday evening from 6 to 8pm, show dad just how creative you are by handcrafting a T-shirt. All supplies are offered for free, but you have to purchase a T-shirt from the store. Then on Saturday, Michaels will host a free "Make-Your-Own" Father's Day card. The event is from 10am to 2pm and is available while supplies last.

And there's a free meal for dads. The Spaghetti Warehouse will be giving free spaghetti or lasagna to fathers on Sunday. The deal is good all day and all you would need to do is make sure to bring your children with you.

After your spaghetti meal, head over to TCBY. The frozen yogurt shop is offering a free cone for father's this Sunday. Several locations around Houston are participating so check your area TCBY.

Mountasia Houston, a family entertainment park, has a deal for fathers during the whole month of June. All you need to do is print out an online coupon and purchase a regularly priced play pass at the park. This will give your dad an unlimited 4-hour play pass or equivalent that includes miniature golf, ride go-karts and bumper boats. Mountasia is located off Highway 249 next to Willowbrook Mall.

Save the date for next Wednesday, June 22 for this customer appreciation event at Whataburger. The fast food chain is giving away free "Breakfast on a Bun" sandwiches. The giveaway happens from 7 to 10am and will be only for dine-in or carryout, but no drive thru! The offer is one sandwich per customer, and the customer must be present to receive a free sandwich. The breakfast on a bun sandwich includes an egg, choice of bacon or pork sausage, and a slice cheese served on a toasted bun. You can even order your sandwich "Ranchero Style" at no extra charge.

The first official day of summer is Monday, June 21, and the Houston Aquarium wants to celebrate with free cookies and drinks from 10am until noon. The general public is asked to RSVP, so call 713-223-FISH.
