A 16-year-old suspect has been arrested in the fatal stabbing of another teen in northeast Houston. Police say a large group of teenagers met under a bridge at Tidwell and Parkhurst on June 11 to watch two individuals fight. Many people in the group then began to fight, resulting in the victim, Victor Limon, 16, being stabbed in the chest. Limon was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Witnesses identified the suspect as the person responsible for stabbing Limon and told investigators the initial fight might have been over a girl. The suspect was questioned and subsequently confessed to the stabbing.

Murder charges were filed against the suspect and he has been referred to Harris County juvenile probation authorities.
