Authorities need your help in solving 3-year-old murder

Carlos David Berdeguez was fatally shot while driving on the North Loop East back in 2007.

Police need your help to solve a murder that happened three years ago today, and they hope a reward help brings the killer to justice. Back on June 7 of 2007, investigators say Carlos David Berdeguez was driving his white Chevy pickup truck in the southbound lanes of the North Loop East just north of I-10. While driving, he was shot in the chest by an unknown suspect, causing him to lose control of his truck. His truck hit the center retaining wall, swerved across the freeway and struck the retaining wall twice more before coming to a stop in the 3200 block of the North Loop East just south of I-10.

Officers arriving at the scene found his passenger side window shattered and Berdeguez dead inside his truck.
