Police say Hernandez got in an argument with Holton and shot him twice in the parking lot, once in the back and once in the leg. Holton died in the parking lot.
Neighbors called police, who arrested Hernandez at the scene.
Charges filed in deady West U. area shooting
HOUSTON
William Edward Hernandez, 22, is facing murder charges in the shooting death of Anthony Holton, 23, of Cypress.
Investigators tell us they were among several people at a party at Hernandez's apartment the Village at West University on Edloe just after midnight Sunday.
