Masked men attack 81-year-old woman

ROSENBERG, TX On Wednesday, at about 7am, deputies with the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office responded to the 3000 block of Band Road in Rosenberg, Fort Bend County in reference to an Aggravated Robbery. According to the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office, at about 7am Wednesday, an 81-year-old woman was confronted by two men who broke into her home. The suspects got in through the back door of the victim's home and demanded the keys to her vehicle and her purse.

Deputies say when woman asked the suspects why they were doing this to her one of them struck her in the face with an unknown object, causing her to lose consciousness. The two suspects fled in the victim's 2003 Ford Escape, also taking her purse and television set.

The woman was transported by Fort Bend County EMS to Oak Bend Hospital where she was treated and later released. Her vehicle was found abandoned a short time later not far from her home.

The suspects were described as both being black males. One suspect was approximately 40 - 50 years of age, wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and a white mask. The second suspect was in his late teens, approximately 5'4" tall; also wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and a white mask.
