Woman dies in rollover crash on South Loop

HOUSTON According to police, a 34-year-old female was driving a green Saturn Vue eastbound on the 610 South Loop West near Cullen Blvd. when, for unknown reasons, she failed to stay in her lane and struck a concrete barrier. The impact caused the vehicle to roll over. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Evidence at the scene indicated there were no other vehicles involved.

The woman's identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
