Suspects arrested after shootout at popular center

HOUSTON

Police said the shooting happened around 4:50pm Wednesday outside the Dave & Buster's restaurant at the Marq*E Entertainment Center off Silber and Interstate 10.

A witness told ABC13 she got stuck in the middle of the shootout because her car was between the two men. The woman said one of the men tried to take cover behind her car, so she put her car in reverse and back out of the gunfire.

Aerial views of the scene showed emergency personnel tending to a man on the ground. However, he didn't survive.

The suspects had fled the scene by the time police arrived, but they were later picked up near west Beltway 8 and Airport. Police then took the suspects back to the shooting scene.
