Accused sex predator wanted on second charge

HOUSTON

Daniel Victor Beasley, 44, allegedly made the threats against law enforcement officers after he was charged in Houston with indecency with a child and a warrant was issued in March for his arrest, according to a Crime Stoppers statement. As a result, a retaliation charge against him also was filed in May.

Police consider Beasley armed and extremely dangerous, according to the statement.

He is believed to have fled to the Newton County or Bon Weir area of Texas, but he could also be with friends and family near Merriville, Louisiana. Detectives believe there's also a chance he may have returned to the Houston area.

Beasley is described as a white man who is 6 feet 2 inches tall, and weighs between 200 and 230 pounds. He has blue eyes and brown hair but is balding.
