Friendswood police want to find a pair of robbers who held up a fast food restaurant worker over the weekend. Two robbers struck the Sonic restaurant located at 3221 FM 528 at approximately 6am Sunday. According to Friendswood police, an employee reported that an order was placed at the drive-thru and a black Cadillac pulled up to the window. When the employee exited the building to deliver the order, the driver exited the Cadillac pointing a gun at the employee and demanding money. The employee returned to the restaurant at gunpoint and gave the suspect money from the safe and cash registers. The employee told police that a second black male came into the restaurant during the robbery.

Police say the pair exited the restaurant and fled in the Cadillac, possibly turning north onto W. Bay Area Blvd. The first suspect is described as a black male approximately 5'2", 180 pounds with short black hair. He was wearing a red and white shirt, blue jeans and was armed with a black semi-automatic pistol. The second suspect is described as 5'6", 160 pounds with short black hair wearing all black clothes.

Police searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect vehicle. They say it was later learned that the victim did not call police until approximately 20 minutes after the incident.

No one was injured during the robbery. It is not clear at this time how much money was taken during the robbery.
