Motorcyclist dies after colliding with vehicle

PASADENA, TX

Police say the motorcyclist was driving down Genoa Red Bluff near Allen Genoa around 8:30pm Saturday when he entered the intersection of Allen Genoa. Witnesses reported the motorcyclist had a green light. The driver of a green Mazda B2000 pickup truck was driving east on Genoa Red Bluff when he failed to yield the right of way and attempted to turn left, striking the motorcyclist.

The male victim, 41, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The suspect, Reyes Reyna, 55, is charged with intoxication manslaughter.
