Police arrest dangerous child predator

HOUSTON Timothy Ryan Richert, 38, was arrested Tuesday night around 11pm after police found him hiding in a motel room.

In August 2009, Richert was charged with aggravated assault of a child and continuous sexual abuse of a child and was out of bond for those charges. On Tuesday, four additional charges of sexual assault of were filed against him.

Officers went to his house in the 4300 block of Polk Street to arrest him on the additional charges. As officers attempted to arrest him, he fled the scene.
