New rule could send Iguana Man home

OCEAN CITY, MD Officials in Ocean City, Maryland, are considering what to do about the Iguana Man. He's a guy on the resort town's boardwalk who goes up to people and asks if they'd like to pet his iguana.

The City Council requires iguana owners to have a reptile permit, which Iguana Man received in 2007. But the law doesn't specify whether the lizards are allowed on the boardwalk.

City officials say they may tweak the ordinance to require that the reptiles be kept at home.
