The suspects, Walter Francisco Martinez, 19, and Jose Vasquez, 23, are both charged with capital murder.
The victims, Suu Nguyen, 24, and Alexander Lobos, 30, both of Houston, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene. Both victims were found dead inside a vehicle parked in the 11400 block of Carvel. Police say the victims had been shot and the suspects fled the scene in one of the victims' vehicles. That vehicle was later recovered.
Police say further investigation developed Martinez and Vasquez as suspects in this case. Both were arrested without incident on Friday.
