Higher lunch prices for Ft. Bend ISD?

SUGAR LAND, TX The district is considering raising school lunch prices by 20 cents. Breakfast prices would also go up. Fort Bend ISD is facing a $20 million budget deficit. The district budget official says Fort Bend's prices are still lower than other districts in our area. Board members will vote on the proposed increases next month.

Just last week, HISD's school board voted to increase lunch prices at all of its schools. Elementary school lunch prices are going up 25 cents to $1.85.
