Humble ISD to vote on rezoning today

Humble ISD will vote today on rezoning to deal with overcrowding. If the vote passes, students living in the Woodspring Forest neighborhood would change schools from Deerwood to Hidden Hollow Elementary. Some parents say it will lead to declining property values and a lesser education.

Right now, Deerwood is 13 students over capacity. By next year that number could grow to more than 100. Hidden Hollow, on the other hand, is 180 students under capacity.
