Law enforcement officials are looking for a Houston man who is wanted for failing to register as a sex offender. Adrian Jermaine Hamm, 34, was convicted in 1996 of aggravated sexual assault of a child for sexually assaulting an 8-year-old girl, and was sentenced to five years in prison. Hamm is required to register annually as a sex offender and police say he last registered in December 2008 with an address in the 9300 block of Lake Forest in Houston. Officers conducted a compliance check on his address and did not locate him.

In February 2010, Hamm was charged with failure to register as a sex offender and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Hamm is a black male, 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 285 pounds. He has short black hair and brown eyes with a dark complexion. Hamm also has a scar on his forehead and a tattoo on his right forearm. He is still believed to be in the Houston area.
