More help for Hurricane Ike victims

HOUSTON Neighborhood Centers held the fair for folks in the Almeda area. The organization's "Stay Connected Texas" disaster management program helps families identify their needs, prepare recovery plans and directs them to services and resources.

Alicia Alaniz with Neighborhood Centers Inc. said, "Surprisingly, there are still hundreds if not thousands of people still recovering from Hurricane Ike. That's why Neighborhood Centers' Stay Connected Texas program is here today to help those people find help and get them through the recovery process so they can be on their road to recovery."

The fair continues tomorrow at the Beverly Hills Community Center.
