Melgar is believed to be a member of the MS 13 gang and has already threatened to kill someone in the victim's family. He is considered armed and dangerous.
Melgar is a 23 year old Hispanic male. He is 5'5" tall and weighs 155 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes with a medium complexion. Melgar has not been arrested and is still believed to be in the Houston area. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call Crime Stoppers.
