Man arrested for pawning laptop with child porn

HOUSTON Jason Blain Wagner, 31, is accused of leaving child pornography on a laptop computer he sold to a pawn shop in 2008. On Tuesday night, a viewer saw a local news report on Wagner and made a call to the Crime Stoppers tip line. That caller provided Wagner's current address.

Wagner was arrested around noon Wednesday at the location reported by the caller.

Back in July 2008, Houston police were called to a pawn shop on Westheimer shortly after Wagner pawned his laptop. Someone at the shop allegedly discovered several pornographic images and videos of children on his laptop. The children appeared to be between 11 and 14 years old.

After an investigation, detectives determined that Wagner allegedly was the owner of the laptop and charged him with possession of child pornography.
