College Station police say two men are sought after the killing of a convenience store clerk during a robbery. Lt. Rodney Sigler says 39-year-old Johannes Kinny of College Station died Friday morning. Sigler says Kinny apparently was alone in the store when the robbery took place.

Sigler says a customer who found the mortally wounded clerk called 911. Witnesses told police that two men were seen leaving the store on foot.

Sigler says the clerk was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead around 4:45 a.m. Friday.

Autopsy results are pending. Sigler says some type of gun was involved, but investigators are not sure if the victim was shot or stabbed.
