Couple pleads guilty on prostitution charge

HOUSTON Deborah and Charles Turbiville each pleaded guilty on March 15 to one count of money laundering and aggravated promotion of prostitution. Deborah, 34, and Charles, 32, were arrested in March 2009. Their client list had more than 1,500 names, including professional athletes, doctors, and lawyers, according to investigators.

The couple could face anything from probation to 20 years for the money laundering charge. Punishment for the prostitution charge ranges from probation to 10 years. Their sentencing hearing is set for June 17.
