New record for Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo
HOUSTON
Just before 4pm Saturday, the Livestock Show and Rodeo saw its two-millionth visitor of the year. That shattered the all-time record of more than a 1,890,000 set last year. The show's chief operating office, Leroy Shafer, credits the big turnout to fewer people traveling this year and good weather.
