Rare aircraft on display in Brookshire

If you looked up into the skies over Houston Wednesday, you may have caught a rare glimpse of a B-17 Flying Fortress. It was just one of the aircrafts taking part in the Wings of Freedom Tour, which is now in the Houston area. Several vintage aircrafts are on display at the Houston Executive Airport in Brookshire, after flying there Wednesday from Ellington Field. The display brings rare bomber and fighter aircrafts to our area, as part of a 110 city tour.

The exhibit is designed to be a flying tribute to the flight crews who flew the planes, ground crews who took care of them, the workers who built them and the soldiers, sailors and airmen they helped protect.

If you want more information on how to get a closer look at these aircraft while they're here, we've got the details.
