'No refusal' weekend for suspected drunk drivers

HOUSTON Several area jurisdictions are conducting another "no refusal weekend," meaning authorities will have search warrants to draw blood samples from suspects who refuse Breathalyzer tests. Officers will be out with mobile Breathalyzer tests, searching for impaired drivers.

They say with Spring Break and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo underway, more drivers will be on the streets.

The no refusal weekend runs from 11pm Friday to 5am Saturday, and 11pm Saturday to 5am Sunday. This is a joint effort between state troopers and police in Harris and Montgomery counties.
