Home invasion suspects pose as delivery men

ATASCOCITA, TX The three suspects posed as FedEx delivery men. Police tell us one of the suspects stayed behind in the driveway while the other two, carrying a package, approached the home. They knocked on the front door, and as a the homeowners answered, the suspected forced their way inside and tied up the man and woman inside.

While this was happening, a grandmother and her granddaughter both hid in the garage and then managed to make their way to a neighbor's house. That neighbor, Crystal Chase, then called 911.

"She was screaming, 'I'm being robbed, I'm being robbed,' said Chase. "She had her little grandbaby in her arms."

We're told Precinct 4 deputy constables arrived at the scene within a couple of minutes and arrested the alleged getaway driver. The two other suspects ran out a back door.

Harris County sheriff's deputies were also called to the scene. They set up a perimeter around the neighborhood and were able to arrest the other two men.

Authorities are trying to figure out if the homeowners were targeted or if it was a random crime.
