Coroner: Casey Johnson's death diabetes related

LOS ANGELES, CA The Los Angeles County coroner's report released Thursday showed the 30-year-old Johnson, an heir to the Johnson & Johnson health care products fortune, died of diabetic ketoacidosis. Diabetic ketoacidosis is a life-threatening condition caused by lack of insulin and sky-high blood sugar.

The report showed toxicological tests were negative for drugs. The autopsy was conducted Jan. 5, a day after Johnson's body was found at her home.

Johnson was the daughter of New York Jets owner Robert "Woody" Johnson. She was engaged to bisexual reality TV star Tila Tequila at the time of her death.

Johnson had been an insulin-dependent diabetic since childhood.
