Pasadena company admits delay after release
PASADENA, TX Last week's leak at the Air Products plant resulted in an orange vapor cloud over the facility.
After several calls and messages from a frustrated 911 operator, the company called 911 back. It took another call -- 42 minutes into the emergency -- before Air Products admitted a shelter in place was needed. In fact, 911 operators had to call the company five times to finally get information.
