TxDOT sprays roads to prevent icy conditions

HOUSTON TxDOT crews began spraying the following locations this morning and expect to be complete before 5 p.m. rush hour traffic.

Montgomery County

State Highway 105 West from I-45 to Grimes County Line

FM 1097 (the long bridge across Lake Conroe)

I-45 N from Loop 336 N to the Walker County Line

Loop 336 in Conroe

Waller County

US 290 from the Brazos River to FM 362

State Highway6 from Grimes County Line including the Flyover

I-10 at Brazos River

FM 1458 at Brazos River

FM 529 at Brazos River

State Highway 159 at Brazos River

Current weather forecast suggests that the greatest potential for roadway impacting conditions are in the northern and western regions of the Houston District Area. However, TxDOT maintenance crews and sand trucks will be on standby starting tomorrow night to address additional locations as needed.
