'Idol' wanna-be booted for breaking rules

It seems to happen just about every year -- some "American Idol" contestant breaks a rule -- and gets the boot. This year's contestant to be sent packing: Chris Golightly. Idol producers aren't saying officially why he's out, other than that he displayed a "lack of veracity" during the audition process.

A source tells The Associated Press Golightly didn't disclose that he has a music deal. Contestants with active deals can't take part in the competition.

Golightly will be replaced by Tim Urban from Texas.
